Our recent housing association fleet vehicle conversion project with Ongo Homes is a strong example of how close collaboration, thoughtful design and experience in multi-discipline maintenance fleets can deliver vehicles that truly support the people using them.

The vehicle conversion project was brought to market through the TPPL Hertfordshire County Council Purchase Framework. The procurement process was delivered by the experienced team at TPPL, overseen by James Brennan, Managing Director at TPPL. Following a competitive evaluation, Mackworth Vehicle Conversions was awarded the contract to deliver the fleet. From the outset, the project involved close collaboration between our team and Ongo’s leadership. We worked directly with Lee Coulson, Head of Commercial and Executive Director at Ongo, who oversaw the programme, alongside Tanya Brooks, Logistical and Support Services Manager, who played a key role in coordinating vehicle requirements across the operational teams.

Housing providers like Ongo operate a wide range of trades and services.
